Visa processing to the U.S. is not an easy process, and time is costly. But if the circumstances are such that it is necessary to visit the U.S. as soon as possible, then you can apply for an urgent appointment for an interview with the U.S. Embassy.
An emergency visa to the United States is issued only if the applicant meets all the necessary criteria, which are below:
To get permission to be interviewed urgently requires:
Pay the consular fee of the embassy;
Fill out a DS-160 visa application;
Write a request to the embassy with a request to undergo an urgent interview, as well as attach to the letter scanned documents confirming the need for an urgent trip.
The embassy staff will decide whether to approve the urgent appointment for the interview. Your request should be clear, concise, with a specific reason for an urgent trip to the United States. The list of supporting documents that need to be sent along with the request may be different. It will depend on the purpose of travel to the U.S.
If the application is approved, you will be able to go for an interview in the coming days. The decision to issue a visa or not will be made by a visa officer during the interview relying not only on the fact of urgent need to visit the U.S., but on your situation.
If this application is rejected, you will be able to go to the interview by selecting the nearest free date in your personal account. You can only submit an urgent interview application once.
